Radio Watermelon is a grassroots initiative run by a group of friends, several of whom are Palestinians, who came together with one purpose: to uplift Palestinians by helping them get the support and visibility they deserve. What started as general X Spaces where Palestinians would join and share their stories soon turned into something more organized—because they kept coming back asking for help, and we couldn’t just look away. 

We realized that many people wanted to donate but were hesitant, unsure which campaigns were real and who they could trust. So, we created a simple solution: verify the individuals, not just their fundraisers. We don’t collect documents or pry—we build trust through basic questions and a quick video call on a secure Discord server. We amplify verified campaigns, promote accounts, and even give Palestinians tools to grow their platforms naturally, offering infographics, guidance, and dedicated teaching spaces in Arabic and French. 

Our X Spaces happen three times a week—Mondays (Arabic/French), Wednesdays (Arabic/English), and Sundays (Arabic/English)—and they’re designed to help Palestinians speak directly to donors and supporters in their own words. When people hear the voices behind the profiles, it brings a level of connection and authenticity that can’t be faked.
